Description
  • Project planning and launch: Work with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budget constraints. Launch projects with clear goals, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and foster a collaborative, goal-driven environment as the leader of a multidisciplinary project team. Effectively communicate project goals, intermediate objectives, and expectations to team members to ensure everyone shares the project vision.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges that could impact project schedule or quality. Proactively develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to keep projects on track.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the client's first point of contact and provide regular updates on project progress, milestone achievements, and deliverables. Ensure exceptional client satisfaction by promptly addressing queries and concerns.
  • Quality Compliance: Oversees adherence to regulatory guidelines, industry standards and ICON's standard operating procedures throughout the project lifecycle. Maintains the highest level of quality and compliance in all project activities.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Efficiently manage project budgets and resources to optimize utilization and cost-effectiveness. Monitor expenses and provide timely financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Project Evaluation: Conduct a comprehensive project evaluation to identify areas for improvement and best practices. Use lessons learned to enhance your future project management strategy.

Desired Profile

• 1+ years of experience working in the biotechnology industry.

• Strong attention to detail with thorough accuracy in all tasks.

• Proven ability to manage budgets and quickly build relationships with sponsors.

• Effective multitasking skills to efficiently handle a variety of responsibilities.

• Ideally, you will have 1+ years of laboratory science experience in the biotechnology field with a comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day operations.

Job Summary
To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of global cross-functional or single service projects ensuring consistency with ICON SOPs, study contracts and budgets

Responsibilities:

• Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values, which center on our commitment to People, Clients and Performance
• As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs
• Travel (approximately 20-30%) domestic and/or international. Travel to other sites within the network may be required to support increases in workload and, or studies/projects as needed
• Lead the planning and implementation of cross-functional project(s )
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Develop full-scale cross-functional project plans
• Assemble and coordinate project staff
• Manage project budget
• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Develop and Manage Risk Mitigation Strategies for projects
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide direction and support to project team
• Quality assurance
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Project evaluations and assessment of results
• Other duties as assigned

This position is 100% remote.

Requirements:

*4-5 years of experience in project management

*CRO experience required

*CNS experience required
