Looking for Manager Microbiology

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Microbiology to lead our microbiology team in conducting research and testing to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and compliance.

Qualification: B.Sc, M.Sc (Microbiology, Biotechnology)

Experience: Min 10 Years

Job Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management: Oversee the microbiology laboratory operations, including staffing, training, and performance management of the team.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability within the microbiology team.

Microbiological Testing: Design, validate, and implement microbiological testing protocols for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

Ensure accurate and timely testing of microbial samples, including identification, enumeration, and characterization of microorganisms.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EPA, ISO) and internal quality assurance guidelines.

Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory submissions, inspections, and audits.

Method Development: Lead the development and optimization of microbiological methods and procedures to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.

Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies in microbiology.

Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Production, and Research and Development, to support product development and troubleshooting.

Communicate results and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs for laboratory staff on microbiological techniques and best practices.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in microbiology.
