About the Role

Aragen Life Sciences, a global Contract Research and Development Organization (CRO), is holding a major Walk-In Recruitment Drive for Freshers. Selected candidates will join Aragen’s Discovery Chemistry team, working alongside senior scientists on custom synthesis, small molecule development, and medicinal chemistry projects for global pharmaceutical innovators.

Key Responsibilities

Chemical Synthesis: Perform organic chemical reactions, multi-step synthesis, and compound isolation under guidance.
Purification & Isolation: Execute purification techniques including column chromatography, crystallization, and flash chromatography.
Compound Characterization: Analyze reaction products using standard analytical techniques (NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, and TLC).
Lab Safety & Documentation: Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) and adhere to strict laboratory safety and chemical management protocols.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Organic Chemistry / General Chemistry or M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Batches of 2024, 2025, or 2026).
Experience: Freshers (0 to 1 year of academic project work or synthetic chemistry internship experience).
Key Skills: Sound understanding of organic reaction mechanisms, functional group transformations, and laboratory safety rules.
Key Traits: High curiosity for laboratory research, strong problem-solving skills, and readiness to work in modern research laboratories.
