About the Role

Omega Healthcare is hosting a massive Walk-In Recruitment Drive for Freshers across multiple office locations. Selected candidates will undergo a 3-month fully paid, intensive training program in Medical Coding, Anatomy, Physiology, and US Healthcare compliance before getting deployed on live global healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Record Review: Review and analyze medical charts, doctor progress notes, operative reports, and discharge summaries for complete clinical documentation.
Clinical Coding Assignment: Assign accurate ICD-10-CM (diagnosis), CPT (procedures), and HCPCS codes based on documented physician notes and guidelines.
Compliance Checks: Ensure all assigned code sequences comply with official coding guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and client-specific requirements.
Audit & Rejection Analysis: Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies, claim denials, and coding queries to ensure accurate claims processing.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm.D / B.Sc or M.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Nursing, Zoology, or Allied Health Sciences (Batches of 2024, 2025, or 2026).
Experience: Freshers (0 to 1 year).
Key Skills: Strong foundation in human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology; good analytical ability and basic keyboard proficiency.
Certifications (Optional): CPC / CIC / COC certification from AAPC is a strong plus, but non-certified freshers are fully eligible.
