About the Role
IQVIA, a world leader in clinical research, healthcare intelligence, and clinical safety operations, is hosting a flagship graduate hiring drive for its Pharmacovigilance & Lifecycle Safety practice. Trainees will undergo extensive training in global safety database workflows, aggregate report compiling (PSUR/DSUR), and signal detection fundamentals.
Openings & Key Learning Streams
1. Safety Aggregate Reporting (Trainee)
- Key Learning Areas: Assisting senior safety scientists in drafting periodic safety update reports (PSURs), development safety update reports (DSURs), PBRERs, and performing systematic literature database searches for adverse event reporting.
- Qualification: Pharm.D / M.Pharm (Pharmacology / Clinical Pharmacy) / M.Sc in Life Sciences.
2. Individual Case Safety Report Operations (ICSR Trainee)
- Key Learning Areas: Hands-on training on Argus Safety DB case intake, triage, narrative writing, medical term coding using MedDRA, and regulatory reporting timeline compliance.
- Qualification: B.Pharm / Pharm.D / B.Sc in Nursing / M.Sc in Life Sciences.
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
- Educational Background: Pharm.D, M.Pharm, B.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, or M.Sc in Life Sciences / Biochemistry (2024, 2025 & 2026 Passouts).
- Academic Criteria: Minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA throughout 10th, 12th, and degree programs (no active backlogs).
- Skills: Excellent command of medical terminology, strong English written communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
