About the Role

Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. is conducting a dedicated Walk-In Recruitment Event for its Quality Control division supporting sterile biologics, biosimilars, and oral formulation lines in Ahmedabad. The company is seeking experienced microbiologists and bio-analysts to oversee environmental monitoring, sterility testing, and biological assays.

Department Openings & Key Responsibilities

1. QC Microbiology

Environmental & Utility Testing: Executing cleanroom environmental monitoring (viable/non-viable counts), water sampling, bioburden testing, and compressed gas monitoring across aseptic manufacturing areas.
Sterility & Endotoxin Assays: Conducting sterility testing (membrane filtration), bacterial endotoxin testing (LAL kinetic/chromogenic method), microbial limit tests (MLT), and pathogen identification.
Qualification: M.Sc / B.Sc in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Industrial Microbiology.

2. QC Biologics & Bio-Analytics

Biological Assays: Performing cell-based potency assays, ELISA, capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS), and gel electrophoresis for monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins.
Culture Maintenance: Maintaining cell lines, sub-culturing, preparing growth media, and validating culture media per Pharmacopoeial guidelines (USP/IP/EP).
Qualification: M.Sc / M.Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in QC Microbiology or Bio-analytical labs within USFDA, MHRA, or WHO-GMP approved pharmaceutical/biotech facilities.
Technical Proficiency: Experience operating autoclaves, isolators, air samplers, Microseq systems, and plate readers.
Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ALCOA+ data integrity guidelines, cGMP, and cleanroom qualification standards.
