About the Role

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is hosting a specialized Walk-In Recruitment Drive for its Biologics division in Hyderabad. They are looking for skilled professionals with expertise in upstream/downstream bioprocess manufacturing and biological Quality Assurance to support commercial biosimilar scale-up.

Key Openings & Department Breakdown

1. Biologics Production (Upstream & Downstream)

  • Upstream Operations: Handling mammalian cell culture, bioreactor setup (single-use and stainless steel), media preparation, inoculum scale-up, and cell banking.
  • Downstream Operations: Executing protein purification, column chromatography, tangential flow filtration (TFF/UFDF), depth filtration, and viral clearance filtration.
  • Qualification: M.Sc / M.Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioprocess Engineering, or B.Tech in Biotechnology.

2. Quality Assurance (Biologics QA)

  • In-Process QA (IPQA): Online monitoring of upstream/downstream steps, aseptic process validation, and media fill oversight in cleanroom environments.
  • QMS & Compliance: Handling deviations, CAPAs, change controls, OOS investigations, batch execution record review, and audit readiness for global regulatory bodies.
  • Qualification: M.Sc / M.Tech / B.Tech / M.Pharm in Biotechnology or Life Sciences.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2 to 7 years in biosimilar or biologics manufacturing facilities under cGMP environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with single-use bioreactors, AKTA systems, DeltaV automation, and clean-in-place (CIP) / steam-in-place (SIP) cycles.
  • Compliance: Solid understanding of USFDA, EMA, and WHO guidelines for biological products and data integrity standards.
