About the Role

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., the world’s fourth-largest specialty generic pharmaceutical company, is conducting a specialized Walk-In Recruitment Event at its Vadodara R&D facility. Selected researchers will join the Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) and Bioanalytical R&D divisions to support ANDA, NDA, and novel drug discovery pipeline projects.

Openings & Key Responsibilities

1. Bioanalytical Method Development & Validation (LC-MS/MS)

Key Tasks: Developing and validating high-sensitivity LC-MS/MS methods for quantification of drugs and metabolites in biological matrices (plasma, serum, tissue homogenates) in compliance with USFDA and EMA guidelines.
Sample Preparation: Execution of protein precipitation, liquid-liquid extraction (LLE), and solid-phase extraction (SPE) procedures.
Qualification: M.Sc in Analytical / Organic Chemistry or M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis.

2. In Vitro / In Vivo DMPK Studies

Key Tasks: Conducting metabolic stability, plasma protein binding, CYP inhibition/induction, and permeability assays (Caco-2/MDCK). Managing PK data analysis using Phoenix WinNonlin.
Qualification: M.Pharm in Pharmacology / M.Sc in Biochemistry.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 2 to 6 years of bioanalytical or DMPK research experience within a regulated pharma R&D center or CRO.
Instrumentation Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Sciex (API 4000/5500/6500) or Thermo LC-MS/MS systems, Watson LIMS, and Waters Acquity UPLC systems.
Regulatory Compliance: Deep understanding of GLP guidelines, OECD principles, and BMV regulatory updates.
